OZONE Systems

UV Systems

SAP use special low-pressure mercury vapor lamps to produce ultraviolet radiation at 254 nm, the optimal wavelength for disinfection and ozone destruction, our systems are capable of striking bacteria, algae, fungi Pr protozoa and rendering them harmless. The UV units are built with high-efficiency UV lamps surrounded by Quartz glass sleeves to isolate the bulbs from water contact thereby preventing thermal shock, glass breakage and mercury contamination. The sleeves also ensure very high transmission of UP energy with lesser losses.

Nano Filtration Systems

The fundamental principle of Nanofiltration membrane’s technology is the use of pressure to separate soluble ions from water through a semi permeable membrane. The membrane operates under a different hydraulic profile which is also known cross flow filtration, unlike a dead-end filter.

Most Nanofiltration membranes are composite materials supported by polymer substrate and manufactured in a spiral design as opposed to a flat sheet or tube geometry. The predominant model used today for industrial applications is the spiral configuration.

Nanofiltration (NF), in water treatment, “bridges” a gap between UF and RO membranes. It is sometimes referred to as a loose or lower rejecting RO membrane. It could also be called a tight UF, as NF membrane pore size ranges from .01 to a little less than .001. Generally, an NF membrane system lets more salt pass than an RO membrane. In addition, an NF membrane element will produce the same quantity of product at 50 to 70% the applied pressure as an RO water treatment system.

Filters

Pressure sand filter filters physical impurities in your borewell water like sand, dust, slit, mild color, smell etc. Filtration is the process of passing liquids containing suspended matter through a suitable porous material (filtering medium) to effectively remove the suspended impurities present in it. It is the final step in the solid removal process followed by coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation if required. Different types of filtrations are offered namely inline, conventional and direct.

Dimeneralization Water Treatment Plants

Demineralization (DM) Water Treatment Plants. Demineralization is the process of removing mineral salts from Water by using the ion exchange process. Demineralised Water is Water completely free (or almost) of dissolved minerals as a result of one of the following processes by using Dual Ion exchange resins called

Cation: Positively-charged ion in a solution
Anion: Negatively-charged ion in a solution

Mixed Bed

Mixed bed resins or mixed bed ion exchange resins are mainly used in the water purification industry for polishing process water to achieve demineralized water quality (such as after a reverse osmosis system). Mixed bed as the name states consists of strong acid cation exchange and strong base anion exchange resin

Softener Plants

An ion exchange water softener exchanges the hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) dissolved in water for sodium. This soft mineral is contained on the softener resin beads and does not build up on surfaces as scale deposits.

Main bridge, spanning the full diameter of the tank, will be made out of truss type fabricated M.S. structures and shall have a minimum width of 1000 mm. It shall be firmly anchored onto the RCC tank.

Reverse Osmosis Plants

Shakunth engineers, designs and build tailor-made reverse osmosis and nanofiltration plants. Their skid-mounted reverse osmosis plants range from tap water, brackish water to seawater desalination and cover all type of application including Bottled water, drinking water, Industrial process water (Zero liquid discharge).

The spontaneous flow of water from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated solution through a semi permeable membrane until equilibrium is achieved. When pressure greater than the osmotic pressure applied by using high pressure pump this process is reversed. Hence it is called as “Reverse Osmosis” (RO).
