Core Carbons was established for the production and export of high-quality coconut shell Activated charcoal/carbon. The plant has a capacity to produce 6000 tons per annum.

Activated Charcoal/Carbon

Core Carbons is a specially built plant, using the best available technical innovation in steam activation by the rotary system. This allows the company the flexibility to meet customers’ specifications.

The manufactured carbon goes through stringent quality control procedures that are carried out in their well-equipped laboratory which troubleshoots 24 hours a day to keep production on target. Every 25 Kgs /50 Kgs of the product is analyzed at Ex Kiln and Ex Screeners stages respectively.

Quality Control

All shipments of carbons will be accompanied by a Quality Control Analysis report certified by a chemist on PSD, Moisture Content, Bulk Density, CTC adsorption, Hardness No., Ash Content, etc.

Samples of activated carbon are constantly sent to the laboratory for quality control tests in accordance with the American Standards and Testing Materials (ASTM).

Core Carbon’s plant and process were designed and developed to international standards. The complex activation reaction is executed in independent furnaces, which operate 24 hours x 365 days. These require overriding operative vigilance, to ensure consistency of the product, in a process often referred to as more an art than a science.

Packing

25/50 Kgs. Polythene lined polypropylene bags or Kraft paper bags.
500/600 Kgs. jumbo bags with a wooden pallet base.
Special packing is made available as per the requirements of the customer including Shrink Wrapping and Palletizing.
