Kali BMH Systems Private Limited is a pioneer in the field of manufacture of Conveyor Idlers and Pulleys. It commenced operations in the year 1976 as Kali Material Handling Systems and was converted into a corporate in the year 2007 with its present name and style. With over four decades of experience and certified for ISO 9001:2008 Kali is one of the early players in the Indian market. It caters to the Bulk Material Handling requirements of major Super Thermal Power Plants, Mines, Ports, Cement plants, Steel Plants and Ore Handling Systems in India and around the world.

Kali had been spearheading Indian efforts to indigenize and had developed the First Sheet Metal Bearing Housing in India and also numerous innovations such as Self-Locking Frame Slots to its credit. These have proved to be laudable import substitutes.

NLC India Limited, Dhamra Port Company Limited, FL Smidth Minerals, Tenova, Thyssen Krupp, Larsen & Toubro, Paulwurth, Bateman, Sandvik Asia, Adani Mundra Port, NTPC Limited, NTPL, SAIL and its various plants, TecGates Malaysia are some of the major clients.

Some of the major projects of the company include Idlers for belt width of 2400 mm carrying 20,000 tph at a speed of 5.4 m/s, 17.5 Km Single Flight Long Belt conveyor for Lafarge Umiam Cement plant carrying Limestone from Meghalaya in India to Surma in Bangladesh.

MANUFACTURER OF CONVEYOR IDLERS & PULLEYS

Kali manufactures a wide range of idlers and frames to suit various requirements. They manufacture both frame type (fixed) and garland (festoon). Idlers such as carrying, return, troughing, training, impact, transition and pipe conveyor rollers. Apart from regular idler types, Kali also manufactures special types of idlers such as non-magnetic idler, weighing idler, vibration free garland idlers for machines, live shaft idler, rubber lined idlers for corrosive atmosphere, picking table idlers etc.

Idlers are grease packed for life to ensure trouble free usage with minimal maintenance requirement. Excellent sealing arrangement ensures that the idlers are water and dust proof ensuring extended life in the most severe conditions on the field. Least friction factor ensures substantial saving in power consumption and smooth operation. Idlers are pre-run in the factory for even distribution of grease and ensuring least starting resistance. Supporting structural members are manufactured in specials fixtures for consistent quality.

Kali pioneered Sheet Metal Bearing Housings in India for the first time in 1970 as a quality import substitute.

Idlers are manufactured in a preplanned manner with built in check points and milestones to ensure that the Right Quality Product is delivered to the customer at the right time.

Kali idlers are in operation in Asia’s largest open cast Lignite mines with a design capacity of 20000 tph, conveying speed of 5.4m/s.

Rollers of this conveyor system manufactured by Kali MHS include garland (festoon) idler sets with barrel diameter of 219.1mm fitted with 6318 bearing.
