The Arasan Aluminum Industries (P) Ltd based at Sivakasi, a town known for its firecrackers, matchbox and printing industries. Established in the year 1981, it’s part of the The Arasan Conglomerate. They are the leading manufacturers of aluminum powders and pigments.
Aluminium powder, the basic raw material for Fireworks, Slurry explosives and other industrial applications was being imported previously from foreign countries by all Indian industries. Considering the increasing demand of Aluminium powder, a manufacturing unit was setup at Melamathur village (12kms from SIVAKASI), Tamil Nadu, India with an initial capacity of 150 MT of Pyrotechnic Aluminium powder per annum.
