The Solar Control Reflective Glass manufacturing facility produces online coated glass for the residential markets. Mirror Processing Line is capable of making copper-free and lead-free mirrors and lacquered glass for interior applications. There is also a Glass Solutions Facility for Safety Glass that includes Fire Safety, Bullet Proof, Glass Proof, advanced marine applications, insulated and laminated glazing.

Clear Glass is a glass manufactured in the float line without any tint, allowing it to be transparent in nature. This transparent and clear finish ensures clarity of vision with true colours of the objects. Clear glass is very versatile and finds a wide range of applications in partitions, doors, furniture, display cabinets etc.
The grade and quality of a clear glass is determined by iron content (measured in PPM – Parts per Million) in Silica-sand, a key raw material in making of glass. Lower the iron content, clearer and purer is the glass. Saint-Gobain plants in India manufacture clear glass with low PPM levels of 654. By bringing down the iron content to just 654 PPM with the help of manufacturing efficiency and technological advancement, Saint-Gobain brings, what is clearly, the purest glass.

Lacquered Glass from Saint-Gobain is manufactured by depositing and baking a lacquer coating on one side of the base glass, usually clear glass. The lacquer gives it a coloured and opaque appearance, bringing an element of vibrancy to any interior application. Unlike Back Painted Glass (BPG) available in the market, the lacquered finish protects the glass from damage, making it highly durable. How it works?
When the glass is switched off from its special power supply (transformers provided), the liquid crystals are randomly scattered, preventing both sides from seeing through the glass. By switching the glass on, the liquid crystals line up and reorient themselves, turning the glass totally transparent.
SGG PRIVA-LITE is tested in accordance with the CENELEC European Standard to meet stringent security requirements. It can be curved, silk-screen printed or sand-blasted. Besides being an innovative, eye-catching product, it scores high on energy-efficient with very low electric consumption. TOUGHENED GLASS
Toughened glass is glass that has undergone processes of controlled thermal treatment to increase its strength. Also known as ‘Tempered glass’, toughened glass is made from annealed glass that has been heated to approximately 650⁰C and then rapidly cooled, making it four times stronger than the ordinary glass.
Due to the increased heat treatment and rapid cooling of the glass, the treatment produces different physical properties. This results in compressive stress on the surface and improved bending strength of the glass. Before toughening, the glass must be cut to the correct size or pressed to shape.
