Coir Needle Felt / Coconut Coir Sheets

Coir needle felt is a type of non-woven fabric made from coir fibers. It is made using a process called needling, in which the fibers are interlocked using a machine with thin, sharp needles. This creates a strong and durable material that is suitable for a variety of applications.

Coir needle felt can be made in different thicknesses and weights to meet specific requirements. It is generally measured in grams per square meter (gsm) and can range from 750 gsm to 2500 gsm in thickness. Coir needle felt can be used in a variety of applications, including flooring, upholstery, automotive interiors, and industrial filters.

Coir needle felt is a sustainable and eco-friendly material, as it is made from a renewable resource, coconut husks. It is also biodegradable, making it a safe and environmentally responsible choice for a variety of applications.

Coir Pads Coconut Coir Sheets

Coir pads are made by interlocking 100% coir fibers through a plain weave using a process called needling. The coir fibers are joined together to form a durable and flexible material that can be used in a variety of applications.

Coir pads are available in roll form without bonding or in sheet form with bonding of the fibers. The bonding process involves spraying rubber latex onto the fibers, up to 15% DRC (Dry Rubber Content), and curing it to create a strong and cohesive material. The thickness of the coir pads can be customized to meet specific requirements, and they are generally referred to as non-woven coir fabric.

Coir pads are measured in grams per square meter (gsm), and can range in thickness from 750 gsm to 2500 gsm, with a thickness range of 5mm to 30mm. Coir pads are also available in roll form without spraying latex, and can be produced in lengths of up to 20 to 30m and widths up to 2m.

Applications
