The spares for the mini excavator is easily available and are priced very reasonably. Inventory of parts is minimum (for example all the bucket pins of the backhoe loader are one and the same and commonly available; same goes for hydraulic hoses, bolts, nuts, hydraulic oil, wheels etc) and can be maintained easily by the farmers.
The 4 wheel mini loader employs cut chassis (the entire chassis turns while steering is turned) and uses 2 liters of diesel per hour and travels at 10kms per hour. The width of the machines are just 4 feet wide and can enter and exit narrow lanes.
All the mini farm machinery are very reasonably priced and comes at just a fraction of the cost compared to their bigger counterparts.
