Located in Puducherry on the East coast of South India, Manatec is a company specializing in the production of various automotive equipment, including Wheel Aligners, Wheel Balancers, Gas Analysers, Smoke Meters, Head Lamp Aligners, A/C Gas Chargers, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Established in 1987 as a manufacturer of industrial shaft alignment systems, Manatec expanded its operations into the garage equipment industry in 1991. This move marked a significant milestone for the company as it developed Asia’s first indigenous Optical Wheel Alignment system in 1991.

Over the years, Manatec’s in-house Research and Development (R&D) department has continuously designed and developed various automotive equipment, including Wheel Balancers, Tyre Changers, Exhaust Gas Analysers, Smoke Meters, Head Lamp Aligners, 2 Post Lifts, and Automatic Tyre Inflators. Manatec’s R&D facility, recognized by the Government of India, covers over 10,000 square feet and boasts a team of more than 35 electronics, mechanical, software, and hardware engineers. To accommodate increasing export orders and domestic demand, Manatec constructed a new Greenfield mass manufacturing facility spanning 130,000 square feet near Pondicherry. This state-of-the-art facility ensures efficient production of garage equipment on a large scale.

In addition to its equipment manufacturing, Manatec launched EASY DRIVE in 2013, an independent chain of Automotive quick-fit centers dedicated to providing high-quality services for cars, buses, and trucks.
